Edmund RV Park is a great homebase to explore all of South Carolina's various
features. The majestic Blue Ridge mountains are just a short
trip to the north. The warm sandy beaches of the Atlantic are to
the east. The historical wonders of Charleston and its grand plantations
are a short 90 miles to the south. South Carolina's horse country
is only 45 miles west.
The
Columbia area itself is rich in both modern and historical attractions.
Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens is one of the top 5 zoos in the nation.
The State House still shows the scars of the Civil War. The boardwalks
of the Congaree Swamp bring you up close to nature. Lake Murray's
500 miles of coastline provide ample room for boating and waterskiing,
as well as some of the best fishing in the nation.
